So you've decided to have your cards read. That's fantastic! (Even better if you decided to have your cards read by me!) If you haven't already had a reading, it can be a little intimidating.
Some of the cards can seem outright scary, by either the name or by the imagery. I've actually had many people tell me they were afraid to get the Death card and didn't want to know how or when they will die. Well, who could blame them? I don't want to know that either! But, that isn't actually what happens in a reading.
If you have had a reading from me before, you've heard me ask if you've had a previous reading and then remind you that some of the scarier seeming cards are not actually scary. If you've never had a reading, I'll tell you the scarier looking cards may come up, but not to panic - they are not what they seem. I like my clients to know that I am not going to be delivering any death omens, or predict any coming deaths or catastrophic events.
The most important thing to remember is that you have the potential to change the outcome of every reading. No matter what the cards say, if you don't like it, you can change it. Change (which is actually what "that awful Death card" means), is something everyone is capable of doing.
If you notice your reading starting to come to fruition, and that's not the outcome you want, change up the patterns leading up to it. You have the potential to change the outcome of every reading.
