Let's Talk Orbs

When it comes to seeing visual proof of Spirit, most of us think Orbs. They're everywhere, right? Or are they?

Orbs have seen seen in many colors with patterns and without.

Some people will agree that every image captured with a little round speck, must have an orb. I'm not one of those people.

Quick background on me, I've spent the majority of my working life in photofinishing. I went to school for photography, when analog photography was not yet obsolete. Why is this important? Because, the equipment you use to capture the orbs can validate or bring to question, your orbs.

Let me clarify. Camera lenses have digital zoom. Even lenses with optical zoom still have a digital zoom component. It all translates to pixels. Those little dots that make an image on your screen. Film cameras (the film itself) shows this as grain. A photo would appear grainy. So the lens sees something, it's written as pixels. the computer fills in what it thinks is needed to make the image clearer. With film, everything the camera sees is right there on the film. No interference.

Use a loupe to see details in negatives and slides.

This being said, you can use a magnifying loupe to see exactly what is on the negative. All specks and dust is identifiable as specks and dust. With digital recordings of images and video, there's no way to see what was there before the computer added to the pixel, making it inconclusive.

If you really want to see if you can catch some orb photos or video, the only way to do it and validate that it's 100% an orb, is to use analog film equipment. 95% of all digital orb videos and photos are not orbs. They're dust.
