Goodbye 2023, Hello 2024!

As 2023 draws to a close, I want to take a minute to reflect on all that has been learned, accomplished, shared, and completed in this past year.

It's been another year of changes, forward movement, learning lessons, beginning new paths on our journeys, learning to love ourselves, others and our lives. It's been another year of the "new normal" post-covid. It's been a year of mourning losses. It's been a year of pressing on. It's been a year.

With that said, now is the time to set manifestations in place for our next year to come. What do we look forward to? What changes need to be made? What lessons need to be learned? What connections need to be made? Maintained? This is the time to think about what we have and what we need.

Take a few moments for a home cleanse before the start of the new year. Light some sage (or spray some liquid sage spray), ring some chimes, set out some crystals and some incense or scented wax melts, open a window for a few moments to allow the smoke of the sage to escape and allow some fresh air in. Grab a broom and sweep in the direction of your door, sweeping out the past energies out and sprinkle some cinnamon at your doorstep to welcome in prosperity. Put on some mellow music, and grab a journal or notebook and a pen. Avoid a phone or tablet for this, as your unique penmanship will add to your benefit. With the calm ad meditative music playing in the background, write what you'd like to accomplish in 2024. Write your goals and aspirations. Write what you'd like 2024 to feel like when you look back at it from this time next year. Write your wishes for your loved ones. Avoid any negative thoughts or feelings here. You can write about that in a separate entry should you need to. This entry should only be positive outlooks for what you'd like your next year to look like.

Once your entry is completed, and you've got your goals in mind, light a candle of whatever color you are drawn to. If you don't have time to sit with a lit candle (never leave a lit candle unattended), you can absolutely use a birthday candle. I recommend, if using a birthday candle, to use a slice of bread as you would a birthday cake, since there aren't really candle holders small enough for them. As you light your candle, think about what you've written for your year to come. Allow your candle to snuff itself out.

This simple cleanse and journal manifestation is a simple way to close out your year on a high note (really, especially if you've used chimes!!), and set yourself up for a bright start to your 2024.

I'm wishing you all health, prosperity and love in your 2024. Be blessed.
