Change For The Weekend

Updated: Jan 29, 2022

I usually don't pay much attention to the weather other than glancing at the app on my phone. That said, social media alerted me to the storm we have in store, before my weather app did. I figured I'd wait a few days as these things tend to change. I love storms of all kinds. The energy of it all, nature's show. I enjoy them (obviously not hazardous weather, but thunder storms, rain and snow storms, those are my zen). Our weather here tends to either over or under-shoot predictions. But, better to ere on the side of caution.

The forecast did actually change from 5" - 8" to now 12" up to 18" as you see pictured in the alert for North Smithfield, RI, where The Crescent Moon Tarot is located, just a few minutes before this blog , so I've decided to close for the weekend. It's a run on sentence. I know. I type like I talk.

That said, by closing this weekend, it'll give the plows time to clean the roads, the parking lot at The Crescent Moon Tarot, and it'll also give me time to clean the snow off of our cars and our own driveway.

It also gives you, the local clients and followers, a chance to desnow as well, and not have to worry about rushing out to make your Reading on time. Please be safe and don't rush about.

Then of course there's the obligatory snow dog photos, because my dog is OBSESSED with snow.

And now for your viewing pleasure and amusement, I'll include my snow-dog because he's so stinkin' cute and because, admit it, you're bummed you can't book that reading this weekend. I know, it sucks.

So, here is Jace, being adorable. Now that you've seen my happy puppy playing and losing his ball in the last significant snowfall, you can go check out the Reading you wanted to book for your next available day.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

*Jace's Motto: No Toy Left Behind

This means, that just as we don't let Jace outside without us, neither does he leave his toys. By the time we are frozen to the bone, we have to coax Jace inside with promise of a treat when he "brings toy inside". Otherwise, he'd never leave them.

That said, please be responsible with your pets. I know all too well the dogs that just don't want to go in when you do, but please coax them in to warm up with you.

Again, apologies to anyone wanting a Reading this weekend. Hours will resume Monday.

Stay safe. Enjoy calm.

Much love.

Update: As this weather has now been updated to Blizzard Warning, we will delay Monday's reopening hours. I'll update more on this as the snow and plowing progresses.
